Step 2. Install Magento Composer

If you receive the following error notification when installing the Magento Open Source application under the domain, you must run the composer install command under the application root directory:

You can install Magento Composer using the following command:

]$ composer install

You can verify the composer version using the following command:

]$ composer -V

Use the composer2 command instead of the composer command if the Magento Composer setting is not set to local.

Step 3. Download Magento Release 2.4.6

You can download Magento 2.4.6 by using the following command:

]$ wget https://github.com/magento/magento2/archive/refs/tags/2.4.6.tar.gz

After downloading Magento 2.4.6, extract the tar file using the following command:

Before installing the Magento Open Source application, you can use the following commands to grant the relevant user and group read-write permissions. The command line cannot write files to the file system without giving the appropriate user and group read-write permissions:

Step 4. Install the Magento Open Source application
